Silviculture

Brian graduated from the Maritime Forest Ranger School at Fredericton, NB in 1978. Early in his career he has been employed with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources, where he worked on Silviculture programs, forest fire control and forest inventory.  Brian also created forest management plans for privately-owned wood lots.  He assisted with reforestation programs on lands that were destroyed by wildfire for the Alberta Forest Service.
